2026 New Year Event & Major Update Announcement

Greetings, Warriors.

We have successfully bid farewell to a wonderful 2025 and welcomed a hopeful 2026.

New beginnings are always special. As ROW enters its 10th year, we are committed to bringing fresh changes and continuous improvements.

Most importantly, a New Map is on the horizon, and we are preparing a special announcement regarding its release soon.

Today, we are excited to introduce the 2026 New Year Event and detail the major changes taking effect immediately. Please review the patch notes below.

0. Q1 2026 Fame Point Reset

To prepare for the 2026 1st Quarter Fame Ranking, all characters with over 10,000 Fame have been reset to 10,000 Fame.

This ensures a fresh competitive start for the new season.

1. End of Ultimate Potion Gift Event

The 'Ultimate Potion Event,' which provided a massive 50% stat boost for 1 hour, has concluded for both AKKAN and HUMAN races.

2. Expiration of 2025 Limited-Time Items

All limited-time items from 2025 have lost their efficacy.

Their stats have been changed to 0, and they are now marked as [Expired].

These items can now be sold to NPC shops.

3. Removal of Gold & Gems from Web Shop

Game Gold and 5 types of Gems have been removed from the Web Item Mall.

This suspension will remain in effect indefinitely. Players are now encouraged to acquire Gold and Gems through in-game farming.

4. New Limited-Time Items Available

New 2026 Limited-Time Items have been added to the Web Mall. (Stats and prices remain the same as previous versions.)

[New Addition] The Sorceress Stone (Human) has been added. Specially, this stone grants an additional +50 Magic Power on top of its base functions.

5. Massive Buff to CAERNARVON Map

To maximize the fun in the CAERNARVON map, Experience Point (EXP) gain has been increased by 80%.

Additionally, A-Grade Equipment will now drop in this map with a low probability!

6. Changes to KARTEHENA VICEROYALTY Map

A-Grade Equipment will no longer drop from monsters in Kartehena Viceroyalty (B-Grade items will still drop).

Instead, all monsters in this map will now drop the 'Edinburgh Castle Scroll' (previously a paid item), which allows you to travel to the CAERNARVON map.

7. Akkan Attacker Skill Adjustment (Balance)

The boost effect of the Akkan Attacker's main skill, 'Shockwave,' has been adjusted.

Change: Boost reduced from 30% → 15%.

Note: This adjustment was made to ensure better overall game balance.
