Steps to solve access problem (Window 10 Defender)

Thank you for supporting the ROW.


We have received reports about the unable to access the game. 

Some of the users have mentioned that Window defender has detected the Client.exe file as a virus.

Based on the investigation we have found that Window 10 Defender sometimes recognizes the normal file as a virus or malware and recommends users remove it.

We have checked our client file and the virus does not appears within the virus program.

ROW client file does not contain an illegal virus and performs normal functions.


For the users to have a problem with accessing the game with the Window defender issue, there is a way to exclude folders from inspection.


Please follow the steps below:

Window Security- Virus & threat protection - Virus & threat protection setting (Manage setting) - Exclusions (Add or remove exclusions) -  Add an exclusion (select file or folder) client.exe or ROW folder


This setting can solve the fundamental problem caused by misdiagnosis.
